Truss manipulator has low application cost, wide application field, low technical requirements, simple operation and convenient maintenance. Today, I would like to share the knowledge of truss manipulators, that is, what types f truss manipulators are commonly mentioned?

Truss manipulators are generally divided into three series:

1. Single axis series

Single axis series refers to only the x axis main body, linear guide rail, sliding table, drag chain, limit position, rack guide rail and drive device. It is generally used with 6-axis joint robot, usually called sky rail, also called high bridge truss.

2. Two axis series

Two axis series refers to the composition of X axis main body, Y axis main body, linear guide rail, rack guide rail, drive device, drag chain, limit device, etc. It is generally used for loading and unloading of machine tools and lathes, instead of manual operation.

3. Multi axis series

Multi axis series refers to the combination of X axis main body, Y axis main body, Z axis main body, linear guide rail, drag chain, position limit, rack guide rail, drive device, etc., which is a common gantry type and is applied to the loading and unloading workstation with complex multi linear motion. It is also designed according to the actual situation of the customer. For example, one X axis and two Z axes have different mechanical structures, but the mechanical principles are the same, with some changes on the original basis.
